I have been teaching weaving workshops to children, adults and seniors for many years, and I am pleased to be able to offer these workshops from my cottage. Workshop length and topics can be tailored to fit your schools needs. The workshop can be a one time visit or it can be held over a few sessions and be more detailed.

I enjoy teaching children about weaving and aim to make the workshops fun and interactive. Topics for discussion can include, but are not limited to, the history of weaving, weaving around the world, types of looms, how to process wool and interactive activities such as cardboard looms and drop spindles.

Sample workshops are shown below, but please feel free to contact me to discuss a workshop designed just for your group! At this time group sizes are limited to 10 children (or 5 adults for senior groups). This allows me to interact with the children and ensure they are getting the most out of their visit to Weaver's Cottage.
