Welcome to Weaver's Cottage online! My name is Richard Cox, the owner of Weaver's Cottage, located just outside of Carbondale, in beautiful southern Illinois. I have been weaving since 1973, when I received my M.F.A. from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and it's my life long passion. I hope to share my love of this art form with you when you visit my cottage.
Weavings for sale at the cottage include throws, rugs, coverlets, placemats, scarves, pillows, and custom made Oriental rugs.
I also offer weaving workshops to school groups and other small groups.
